Christmas 2007

Gabby and Claire had a great time with Grandma Moo decorating the Christmas tree with all sorts of chocolates and goodies that Grandma and Grandpa picked up in Germany (including Marzipan Pretzels), which, for the first time ever, made taking down the Christmas Tree more fun than putting it up.

The kids loved making a Gingerbread house, especially the part where they got to put the candies on the roof: "One for the roof, One for me......." We're not sure why Claire decided to make a face for the camera.

They also loved opening their Christmas presents, especially all of their princess pajamas and dress up shoes, as you can see, Grandpa was thrilled with all of the excitement too.

One of the best parts of Christmas is sitting around wrapped in blankets watching movies.

Along with Christmas comes bringing in the new year, and as you can see at 9:00 p.m. on December 31st, everyone was very excited.

Claire really loved sitting with Grandpa in his cozy office watching football.

Playing in the Snow

Despite all of the snow at Grandma and Grandpa's house, and the neat snowman kit the kids got for Christmas, we were only able to make a couple of very sad looking snowmen. The snow wasn't good packing snow at the time, but it had also been a long time since dad built a snow man. Luckily, the kids didn't know any better and were very proud of the snow blobs.

Gabby loved going sledding with her cousins. There was a little hill just the right size to have fun.

Gabby's Ballet Class

Gabby loves to sing and dance, here she is in her ballet class last year on the day that parents could come and visit. There were plenty of good photo opportunities and we got some good pictures, but luckily we don't have a camcorder or we would have some not-so-great footage of the booger she pulled out in the middle of class too.

Her 'arabesque' was great for her age, pointed toe and everything.

Just Playing

This is a great park in Boulder City that overlooks Lake Mead, the kids love to play there and we enjoy the scenery.

Here they are playing at the Science Museum.
